Hauptbahnhof - Central Station
This came around the time of transfers and Tom was at Central Station for most of the day waiting for all the new arrivals.
die Schlange - the snake
I'm guessing this was because he and his companion found a snake on the sidewalk one day. Picture to follow.
Schweigen - Silence
Krawatle - tie, as in neck tie
Maybe because I LOVE ties and sent him several for his 21st birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOM!!!
Now for the pictures! This one is from Munster of a member there, Luckie, who took wonderful care of the missionaries.
Looks cold in Munster. The sign says "Walking on the ice is forbidden" so, why are you?
Another picture of a sign...he gets it from me. lol Someone saw the opportunity to make their own personal statement.

From Munster Tom went to Bergedorf which is near Hamburg.
This is the "gallon challenge". Who could drink the most milk. Makes me shudder!
While Tom's knee was mending after his surgery he and his companion got to use one of the mission home cars. Their's is the red one...............
...on the far right.A street in Bergedorf. Looks like a pretty city.
Snake that was found on the sidewalk of a similar street. They saved it from going into the road.
Tom has been out for just over a year now! He's doing great and loves being in Germany. I love this picture, a before and after the polishing of his well worn shoes.
The writing inside is so he can rotate his shoes and he knows which ones go together since both pair are the same. We were told if he did this, they would last the entire two years.
